C&T Invest
Geert Van Dijck, owner of C&T Invest, was for many years managing director and major shareholder of Group Op de Beeck Materials & Treatment in the port of Antwerp. In this capacity, he developed GODB Materials & Treatment into the European market leader, with a market share of over 350,000 tons/year in the valorization of organic waste and residual streams. The anaerobic digestion process with green energy production coupled with 100% nutrient recovery of the processed waste is unique in the sector and has more than proven its worth. The combination of various techniques and their optimization through years of dedicated R&D remains exceptional and highly innovative.
In the spring of 2022, GODB Materials & Treatment was sold by Geert Van Dijck, and C&T Invest was founded. There had long been a strong interest in doing something with activated carbon, partly because this purification technique is applied in almost every biogas plant and therefore is far from unfamiliar.
DEME Environmental
DEME Environmental has decades of experience in soil remediation and water purification. Hundreds of projects have been carried out, ranging from small and simple to complicated and very large-scale projects. For these purification and remediation tasks, activated carbon technology is almost always used.
DEME Environmental has been using this purification technique extensively for years, and it holds no secrets for them. Moreover, DEME Environmental had long intended to perform this step in the purification process in-house.
Driven by this shared intention and interest, C&T Invest and DEME Environmental have joined forces to establish Cargen. The extensive experience and expertise in the sectors where activated carbon is commonly applied and in which Cargen aims to be active are unique assets.
Cargen is not just your flexible service partner for activated carbon and plug & play filter units, but also knows the processes in which they are applied like no other.
